🧵 Leatherette Patch Application Instructions

These patches are made to last — just follow the steps below to get a clean, permanent bond.

🔥 Step-by-Step Application

1. Pre-press the garment for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture and smooth the surface.
2. Position the patch exactly where you want it. Once it's on, it’s not moving.
3. Press at 290ºF for 30 seconds with medium pressure.
4. Let it cool for at least 15 minutes before touching, flexing, or packaging. This allows the adhesive to fully cure.

These are not machine washable — hand wash only for best results.

🎨 Artwork Preparation Instructions

To get clean, sharp leatherette patches, your artwork needs to be set up right from the start. Here's how to prep your file:

✅ File Type

We only accept vector files — send your design as an AI, EPS, PDF, or SVG. No JPEGs, PNGs, or screenshots. If it’s not vector, it’s not usable.

✅ Design Style

Your design should be simple, bold, and black — no colour, no gradients, no fine details. Think clean lines, solid shapes, and high contrast.

✅ Single Colour, Single Layer

All artwork should be black only. The black areas are what will be engraved or pressed into the patch — white space will be untouched. No multiple layers, no transparency, no shading.

✅ Size & Scaling

Design your artwork at actual size or larger. Vector files scale cleanly, but starting with the right dimensions avoids issues with placement or proportion.
