DTF Transfer Application Instructions

Applying your transfers is easy — just follow these steps and dial in your settings. No guesswork, no wasted blanks.

🔥 Step-by-Step Application

  • 1. Pre-press your garment for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture.
  • 2. Position your transfer where you want it on the garment.
  • 3. Press with the recommended time, temp, and pressure (see below).
  • 4. Peel the carrier film while it’s hot (our transfers are fast).
  • 5. Cover with your cover sheet of choice.
  • 6. Press again for 5 seconds to lock it in.
  • 7. Wait 24 hours before washing or stretching. Seriously — let it cure.

💪 Cotton, Blends & Most Materials

  • Temp: 290ºF
  • Time: 10–12 seconds
  • Pressure: Medium to High

🏃‍♂️ Polyester & Sensitive Materials

  • Temp: 275ºF
  • Time: 10–12 seconds
  • Pressure: Medium to High

Pro Tip: Every heat press is a little different — if you're not sure, test on a spare garment first. Better safe than sorry.
